Mauser Pocket Pistol 1934

Mauser_M1934_L.jpg
Left side of a Mauser Model 1934. Note the serial number placement in a milled out panel, the Mauser
name and address, the Mauser banner, and the curved back of the one piece grip. This curved back of the
grip is one way to distinguish between the Model 1914 (which has a straight backed grip) and the Model
1934. The placement of the slide serial number in a milled out area is another distinguishing characteristic
between the models 1914 and 1934. The slide serial number of the model 1914 is in the same location, but
is not in a milled out depression.

Right side of the same Mauser Model 1934. Note the cartridge designation, and the patent notification
(D.R.P. u. A. P.). This is a reblued pistol, and there is deep pitting on the extractor under the blue.

between the pre-1922 Model 1914 and the Model 1934.
