Left side of an early commercial Mauser model HSc, chambered for
the 7.65 Browning cartridge. This pistol had the remains of a
thick brown paper label glued to the left grip panel. This label
appears to be the remains of a shipping document. The pistol also
came with a small, military, flap holster. The holster is brown
leather, has the spare magazine pouch, has the Waffenamt WaAD28,
and has fragments of the same kind of label glued over the top
of the flap. Holster is also in excellent condition, save for
some cracking across the top of the holster flap. Small dings
in the right grip panel of the HSc match the position and shape
of the holster strap boss, so the pistol was kept in this holster
or one much like it.
